There would have been no people on earth without women.
Without them there would be no children.

We would not have been born.
The women have conceived us and made us grow in their wombs.

They have given birth to us.

They are our mothers.

They are equated with " Shakti" in India.
They represent the mother energy in the Universe.

The mother's have nursed and fed their milk to their and other children.

They have been sisters,daughters,wives,mothers,mothers -in-law.

They deserve to be saluted and remembered worshipped, honoured and helped.

How can one  forget the troubles the mother takes for its child right from conception, birth, infancy, toddler stage, childhood and adolescent stage and grown up stage?

They even bother about getting a good match for their children and settle them properly in life.
They worry about their grandchildren and love them.

They go about their routine day after day even if they are not well and how many people and their husbands, or children notice the same?
How many understand what they are doing for them?
How many help them?
How many appreciate them?
In fact they need all help and cooperation from everyone in the house.

Mostly they are just taken for granted and no one bothers about their health problems.

Women are also the love of men.
What would life be without the friendship and love of women?

What is life without daughters, sisters and cousins and aunts?
I would like to salute the women of this world ,the beloved's of this world, the sisters and daughters, mothers and grandmothers.

I would like to salute her who held the flag in the processions during the freedom struggle;
who got married when she was a child;who studied privately along with her children and became a graduate;who learnt many languages;who started teaching labour children on her own initiative;who was the force behind the establishment of a new school;who helped the working maids to learn in her backyard;who is an octogenarian and who worked as a social worker and has got honoured for her work even if she stays alone and is often not well and without help.
My salutes to many other women in this world who taught me how to read and write, who made me speak  in elocution contests to open up my oratorial skills, who gave me food, love and affection and much much more.

May the problems of each and every woman in this world be taken care of and they get all help when they need the same.
