The face of Modern Pune
Pune has been changing.
While the colonisation has extended in all directions the look of the city is changing from the old world tiled roof bungalows and easy slow life to a fast life with continuous almost never ending traffic on the roads which have begun to look like roads of some advanced foreign country.
Where there used to be spacious old styled bungalows one finds the shiny, tall and glassy, opulent, classic and stylish buildings, looking as if they have been lifted out of some part of a big American city.
But some areas like Centre Street and Juna bazaar through which we passed, have not changed much.
The shops lined along the roads are giving way to the mall culture.
There is one on the road going left from the Aurora Towers almost opposite the Coffee House.
It has a nice look and once inside you enjoy a mall where one can enjoy pizzas of Pizza Hut or have a bite at Mcdonalds and there are many other small stalls with a variety of eats.

On my recent trip I paid a visit there and was happy to see a slim, beautiful fair lady compering a show of the body beautiful.
The start of the body beautiful show and a lady compere on the stage
A number of muscular men showed their muscles and body and a number of prizes were up for grabs along with a lot of fanfare and music.
The road to the airport was choked with traffic and I began to wonder whether I would be able to reach the airport before the end of checkin time. Luckily for me the flight was delayed.
Even the airport has changed.
It has become more glamorous and an international airport.
